A NATAL-FIRST APPROACH
This is one of the most important distinctions in my work.
A Jupiter line is often described as fortunate. A Moon line is associated with home and emotional connection. Venus is commonly linked with love, beauty and ease.
But the same planetary line will not express identically for everyone.
Your natal chart remains your underlying blueprint wherever you go. Before I interpret your Astrocartography map, I therefore analyse how each relevant planet operates within your birth chart.
I then consider:

its natal aspects;

whether it falls on your AC, DC, MC or IC;

its proximity to other planetary lines;
-
significant crossings and power points;
-
and the wider geographical corridor surrounding the location.
This is particularly important when a traditionally supportive line sits close to a more demanding influence such as Saturn or Pluto.
Rather than telling you simply to “move to your Jupiter line”, I look at what your Jupiter actually means for you - and what else is happening around it.

I begin by analysing each person independently before cross-referencing both maps to identify locations with the strongest potential for shared wellbeing, relationships, home life, opportunity and growth.

FAQ: Astrocartography
What is Astrocartography? Astrocartography, also known as locational astrology or relocation astrology, maps your birth chart across the world. Planetary lines indicate locations where particular planets were positioned on the major angles - AC, DC, MC or IC - at your time of birth. Astrologers interpret these locations as places where particular themes within the natal chart may become more prominent.
Can Astrocartography tell me the best place to live? Astrocartography can help identify locations that appear more supportive for particular priorities - such as career, relationships, home life, creativity or personal growth - but I do not believe there is one universally “perfect” city for every aspect of life. A place may be excellent for your career while being emotionally demanding, or wonderful for relationships while encouraging major personal change. This is why I consider your wider map rather than recommending somewhere purely because one beneficial line runs nearby.
How often should I revisit my map or book another consultation? Your natal and astrocartography maps never change, but your relationship to it does. As you evolve, different planetary energies become more relevant - through life phases, transits, or shifting goals in love, work, and wellbeing. Many clients revisit their chart every few years, particularly during times of relocation, career transition, or personal transformation. We do have transits that impact us at different times, but I focus on the longstanding energy for you in the locations.
How close do I need to be to an Astrocartography line? I work with an influence of up to approximately 480 km / 300 miles on either side of a planetary line, with the effects generally interpreted as stronger closer to the line. I also examine nearby planetary influences because a destination may sit within range of more than one line.
Why do you analyse my natal chart first? Because the natal chart determines how a planet operates within your underlying astrological blueprint. A Jupiter line, for example, cannot be interpreted properly simply by assuming that Jupiter always means “luck”. Natal aspects and nearby planetary influences can substantially change the character of a location. Your Natal Chart Report is therefore included with my Astrocartography consultation packages.
What if I don't know my exact birth time? An accurate birth time is important because Astrocartography lines are calculated from the angles of your birth chart, which move as the birth time changes. If your recorded time is uncertain, tell me before booking so we can establish whether the reading can be prepared reliably. If you have a range, I can do some tests beforehand to try and establish the correct timing.
